Research On Luiz Luxvich

Luiz Luxvich:
The main reason I have chosen to look at Luiz Luxvich is because the type of photos he takes are close up photos of droplets hitting another droplets as they come back up which creates weird water sheets and interesting reflection due to the colours in the room. I like the way in which the two water droplets interact with each other and create the sort of water sheet along the point of impact.

The main interesting thing about this image is the large amount of different colours that are within this image. I like how the colours start off as solid colours but as they reach where the ripples of the drop are they all merge into each other.

For this image I like how there is a reflection of the drop in the water of the image. It looks rather surreal in the way that it looks like there is a drop somehow going in both directions. Again with this image the way in which the white and the blue start off solid then merge into one causing a yellow colour to form.

Here we see another interesting way in which the photographer  has managed to incorporate colour into their image again creating the interesting ripple patterns in which we get some blue and the splash itself which is still clear even though the water looks like ink.

The main point of interest of this image is that the photographer has managed to somehow get a splash with two drops on each end of the splash creating the image above.
This photographer has influenced me to try and take some photos of water droplets which have been dropped from a large height to create even larger droplets which the second smaller drops can then hit later to create the water sheets. The photos create a rather tranquil feel to them because they are all rather calm.

To summarise Luiz Luxvich style of photography is rather complex in the set up to get the stuff required for his shoots. For these types of shoots they must be done in a studio with lots of light to compensate for the really fast shutter speed.
